welder can put the flanges where YOU have them marked. What you really need to do is carve out some time with the welder and have him spot-weld the flanges on so you can keep on test-fitting the placement of them. Have him do this, chalk the BOVs, then close the hood and see where/if they rub. The SSQVs are huge, leaving very little clearance to get it just right without rubbing. I'd suggest paying him for an hour of time to make a few placement checks, then flat-rate for welding of the two BOVs. Good luck, SS
